Swati studies diversity, inclusivity, and labor productivity through a gender lens, using laboratory and field experiments. Her research spans personnel, development, and labor economics, with a focus on policy-relevant questions for marginalized communities. She integrates insights from sociology, psychology, and behavioral sciences into experimental designs. Her recent work includes field experiments in sectors such as garment manufacturing, and in STEM education she extends these experiments with AI-based analytics to study leadership and gender imbalances.
