Library Guidelines
Welcome to the IGIDR Library Guidelines page. Here you will find all the necessary information about using our library resources, services, and facilities. Please familiarize yourself with these guidelines to ensure a productive and pleasant experience for all library users.
- Entry is restricted to IGIDR faculty, staff, students, and registered visitors with valid authorization
- Carry your Institute ID card when visiting the library and scan it at the entry gate while entering and exiting the library
- Books and other materials may be borrowed as per the library's borrowing privileges
- Borrowed items must be returned by the due date to avoid fines
- Library resources (print and digital) are strictly for academic and research use
- Do not share your login credentials or downloaded digital content with unauthorized users
- Maintain silence inside the library premises
- Refrain from using mobile phones inside the library and keep them on silent mode
- Do not mark, highlight, or damage any library materials
- Report any damaged or missing pages and items at the circulation desk
- Library computers are meant for academic use only
- Users may photocopy or scan materials within copyright limits and library guidelines
- Ensure adherence to the Copyright Act and fair use policy
- Refrain from undertaking discussions in the study areas
- Individual study cubicles must be used quietly and respectfully
- Overdue, lost, or damaged items will incur fines or replacement costs
- Violations of library rules may lead to suspension of library privileges
- Users are encouraged to provide feedback or request new materials via the email
