The Visiting Students Programme seeks to attract students who want to learn what academic research is all about and would like to learn the ropes and get some hands-on experience working with faculty.

Eligibility
- Students in the 1st year of Master’s programs (M.A., M.B.A., M.Com., M.Sc., M.Stat.)
- Students in the 3rd year of engineering programs (B.E., B.Tech.)
- Students in the 4th year of integrated Master’s programs
Rs.9000/- for June 2–July 17, 2025, sleeper class roundtrip train travel, complimentary shared accomodation on IGIDR campus.
