Ph.D. Colloquium(CoRe)

Conversations on Research (CoRe) is IGIDR’s annual PhD colloquium that brings together doctoral students in Economics, Energy & Environment, and Development Studies for thoughtful and critical academic interaction. CoRe provides a vibrant platform to present ongoing research, receive detailed feedback from faculty and peers, and build scholarly networks across institutions. In addition to full paper presentations, the colloquium features a dedicated poster session where doctoral students share preliminary findings and refine research ideas through structured discussion. The programme fosters dialogue on emerging theoretical and empirical challenges while offering practical guidance on publication strategies and post-Ph.D. career pathways. In the past, participants have benefited from plenary talks by eminent scholars, as well as panel discussions featuring editors of major national and international journals.
