Academic Outreach

The institute promotes academic outreach through structured initiatives that nurture research and intellectual exchange across disciplines. The Collaborative Research (CoRe)–Ph.D. Colloquium provides a platform for doctoral students from universities and research institutions to present and refine their work through feedback from IGIDR faculty and peers, fostering a culture of critical engagement and scholarly networking. The Post-Doctoral Fellowship Programme supports early-career researchers in pursuing independent research, 10 contributing to the advancement of development studies and policy-oriented research. Together, these initiatives underscore IGIDR’s commitment to capacity-building, collaboration, and the dissemination of knowledge. The Visiting Scholars Programme facilitates collaborative research opportunities for faculty and researchers from other institutions, strengthening academic linkages and knowledge sharing and the Visiting Students Programme offers shortterm exposure to advanced research environments, enabling postgraduate students to broaden their academic horizons
