Assistance is available for literature search, citation guidance, and use of scholarly databases. The library offers training and support in using reference management tools like Zotero. Users can request help for compiling bibliographies, managing references, and avoiding plagiarism. These services aim to enhance the quality and efficiency of research output at IGIDR.
Inter-Library Loan
The IGIDR library strongly believes in inter-library cooperation and resource sharing. We welcome academicians and research scholars of other universities and academic institutes of the country to access our library resources. Such visitors, who would like to avail of this facility are requested to bring an introduction letter from their librarian.
We also welcome Indian libraries to actively participate in inter-library cooperation. Under this programme, photocopies of certain materials can be sent to libraries on payment basis. E-copies can also be shared subject to licensing terms. Books are lent only to certain academic libraries within Mumbai city. Rare books, statistical publications and journals (including back volumes) are not lent on inter-library-loan.
