The India Development Report (IDR) is a flagship publication of the institute. It provides a comprehensive review of the country’s economic and social performance. It presents in-depth analyses by the institute’s faculty members, researchers and researchers from other institutions on issues such as growth, poverty, inequality, employment, infrastructure, environment, and policy reforms. Each edition combines empirical research with policy perspectives, thus making it a valuable resource for academics, policymakers, and development practitioners. It has been published since 1997.
